Frequently asked questions

The extension is not syncing playback expand_more

Reload both the streaming tab and the extension. Make sure all participants have WatchNest installed and are on the same video page. If the issue persists, try disabling other extensions that might interfere with video playback.

I have a payment or billing issue expand_more

Contact us at hello@watchnest.party with the email used for payment and the plan name. If you have an active subscription, you can also use the self-service billing portal below.

The room is not connecting expand_more

Check that all participants have the extension installed, are on a streaming watch page, and that the room link was shared correctly. Corporate firewalls or VPNs may also block WebSocket connections.

Camera or microphone is not working expand_more

Make sure you have granted camera and microphone permissions to the streaming site in your browser settings. Camera features require a Duo, Crew, or AI Premium plan.

Do guests need an account or subscription? expand_more

No. Only the host needs a subscription. Guests just need the WatchNest Chrome extension installed — they join through the invite link with no account or payment required.
